Shoebuy Order Verification

If you see Massachusetts on you caller ID and you ordered from Shoebuy take the call. We placed an order Sunday night for several items and they called Monday and left a message. It was so fast and garbled that we had to rely on caller ID to determine it was even Shoebuy. Not sure why they called, possibly because the order was over $500 but we really don’t know. We did get some great deals and yes we used the Shoebuy.com 10% off discount code, enter “SHOEBUY” at checkout.
Anyhow, they also sent an e-mail about the same time requesting that we call the “processing department” regarding some orders (it was really one order for several items) placed on the Shoebuy.com web-site. We called last night and we were asked for our order number, which was not on the e-mail they sent requesting that we call by the way but in all fairness it was on an order confirmation e-mail they sent when we placed the order. None the less, the woman at Shoebuy sighed when we were not able to provide it to her although she was able to look it up for us by name.
Basically, we were asked for the last four digits of the credit card we used (we did know that) to place the order and we were advised that because the items came from several manufactures they would be arriving separately. Only one pre-paid return label would be provided so we should wait for all items to arrive first if we had to return anything.
Bottom line is we do like Shoebuy for their great prices and free shipping but we feel that customer service and the order verification process could be improved somewhat.
