REALLY excited about this product and I can’t wait to get one! Oprah says it has changed her life! How cool is that. This gaget is a combination device for reading books and blogs wirelessly with a high resolution display that looks and reads like real paper. New York Times Best Sellers and New Releases are $9.99, unless marked otherwise. You can shop for titles from anywhere and download a book in less than a minute. No PC is required to download titles and use this product!
Best part is there are no monthly charges and the device will hold over 200 titles. It is about the size of a paperback book and is very lightweight.
Click the image to view the full specs or to watch the video. Also over 5,000 user reviews at Amazon. Included in the box: Kindle wireless reader, Book cover, Power adapter, USB 2.0 cable.

A recent article in the Wall Street Journal noted that as we grow older our feet tend to expand and change shape. This applies to both men and women and these changes often begin in our 50’s. Apparently arches can flatten and tendons and ligaments can weaken. No doubt that is why comfort shoes seem to be more and more popular as the baby boomer population ages.

This is from the Slick Deals forum:
RSVP shoes on sale for $9.95 at 6pm.com ($6.95 flat shipping or free w/ $100 purchase)
Go to 6pm.com and search for RSVP. All of the RSVP brand shoes are on sale for $9.95. Please note that when searching, the prices don’t always show as $9.95, but if you click on the shoe and go to the individual page it shows as $9.95 (down from prices ranging $50-$220).
There are way too many for me to pick out individual ones that are good deals. As of right now there is a very big selection in styles, colors, and sizes. For guys, there are boots, dress shoes, casual shoes. For ladies, there are boots, high heels, flat shoes, etc.
Shipping is a flat $6.95 or free with an order > $100.
Hopefully I didn’t miss any details.

We were researching the numerous benefits of green tea and were brought to the subject of antioxidants, which green teas are rich in. Then, kind of in a roundabout way we ran across an interesting product called Protandim.
From what we can tell this product does not contain antioxidants but instead triggers the body to produce more of its own two antioxidant enzymes which helps prevent free radical damage to your cells. Protandim claims to do this thousands of times more effectively than any conventional antioxidant therapy.
The product has been featured on ABC PrimeTime Live, NBC Today Show, and the PBS series “Healing Quest”. Video clips of the segments are available on the company website.
Protandim is clinically proven to slow down the cell aging process to the level of a 20 year old. Learn more at Protandim.com.
The also offer a Free Trial if you are a new customer and enroll in the auto-ship program. Looks like you only pay shipping and they give a customer service phone number to cancel if you choose to.

Today is the Saturday Sale at Shoes.com. This is an excerpt from a partner e-mail we received from them:
“This month’s event will have great deals on fall styles including boots. There will be up to 60% discounts on select styles making the October event one of the most attractive for shoppers looking for seasonal shoes at a great price.
Just a few of the shoes that will be marked down on Saturday October 11th include Fur-lined Boots like Koolaburra, Bear Paws, Emu; Classic Boot Styles for the Entire Family; Kids Boots; Heely’s and more!”
With the economy the way it is we suspect sale days will become more and more popular. I know they are in my house.

I started running again recently and after just a few half-on half-off 4 mile runs I’m feeling a slight discomfort in my knees. Hopefully it’s not the beginnings of “runners knee” but just in case I decided it was time to shop for some new running shoes. While researching shoes I ran across the Running Shoes Fall Shoe Guide 2008 at Runnersworld.
This is a must see if you are looking at running shoes. There are several pages of editor reviews including prices and availability info. There is a video for all of the top picks. I highly recommend this site if you are shopping for new running shoes.
The top editors choice this year is the Asics Gel-Evolution 4 available for approximately $110 at Runtex and also Dicks Sporting Goods.
